Paul leads the Delphi Group’s activities in British Columbia where he is involved with strategic planning, business development, client relationship and project management, industry and market research, public policy review, report and proposal writing, event planning and coordination, and marketing and communications.
Paul has directly overseen the successful completion of over a dozen industry research projects and workforce studies on key sectors of the green economy including energy, transportation, natural resources, and construction. Outcomes have focused on building sustainable economic development strategies in order to promote energy and resource efficiency, stimulate job creation, and increase investment and trade for clean technology and environmental solutions.
Paul has a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Victoria, a Certificate in Environmental Stewardship from Camosun College, and a Diploma of Technology in Marketing Management and Entrepreneurship from BCIT’s School of Business. Paul has also been a member of a number of advisory groups and committees on energy and green economy subjects in Canada, and is currently a member of the Program Advisory Committee for BCIT’s School of Business as well as UBC’s Masters in Clean Energy Engineering Program.
Paul’s earlier experiences have included work in the eco-tourism sector, as a marine and invertebrate biologist, and as a SCUBA dive instructor in Canada, Thailand, the Philippines, and Australia. Paul is a travel and outdoor enthusiast where he likes to spend time with his family and friends skiing, SCUBA diving, boating, camping, hiking, and immersed in nature. Paul is married with two young children and lives in Victoria, BC.
