Phil Oakley, Consultant

As a Consultant at Delphi, Phil performs greenhouse gas emissions quantification and analysis, conducts research, and delivers project reports and briefings. Prior to joining Delphi, Phil gained extensive expertise across a wide range of environmental technologies and processes. He worked on projects for the Ontario BioChar Initiative, a program aimed at accelerating the use of biomass in automotive materials, while researching biodegradable plastics at the University of Toronto. He also gained experience in the scale-up of clean processes while working at Vale’s hydromet nickel processing plant in Argentia, NL.

Phil has a Master of Applied Science in Chemical Engineering degree from the University of Toronto, a Bachelor of Applied Science in Chemical Engineering from Queen’s University, and a Graduate Diploma in Sustainable Development Policy at Carleton University.

In his spare time, Phil enjoys skiing, reading non-fiction, watching classic movies, and attending music events.
