Evelyn has over 30 years of experience working with the energy sector in Calgary, with expertise in corporate risk management, climate change and air quality policy, as well as a wealth of knowledge in emissions reductions, international carbon credit transactions, contracts, and project due diligence.
Prior to joining Delphi, Evelyn was the Director of Risk for Natsource Asset Management Corp. She co-managed the Greenhouse Gas Credit Aggregation Pool (GG-CAP), the world’s first private-sector mechanism designed to help companies achieve greenhouse gas reduction targets cost-effectively. Evelyn also held various senior roles over 13 years with TransCanada, one of Canada’s largest integrated energy companies.
Evelyn received a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Calgary and qualified as a chartered accountant in 1994. Her financial background coupled with her experience provide her with a unique ability to advise companies on how to effectively identify, quantify, and mitigate carbon risks within the context of increased management, reporting, and disclosure expectations of the regulators and financial community.
Evelyn is passionate about mentoring young women for leadership roles and supports the activities of the Canadian Women’s Foundation in Canada. In her spare time she likes to enjoy all the activities the Rocky Mountains have to offer.
