Jason supports Delphi with technical expertise in the analysis of greenhouse gas and criteria air contaminant emissions. Jason has a broad background of experience in this area, having worked with clients in a diverse range of industries on GHG emissions inventories and project accounting, the development of offset protocols, and regulatory regimes such as the SGER and BC Low-Carbon Fuel Standard.
Jason is a faculty member in the Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of Waterloo. Originally from the UK, Jason has previous experience working for the upstream oil and gas industry with BP.
Jason holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Waterloo, focusing his research on the biofiltration of volatile organic compounds. He has an undergraduate degree in Engineering Science, specializing in Chemical Engineering, from the University of Oxford, England.
In his spare time, Jason is keen to explore the outdoors in all seasons, enjoying hiking and canoeing in the summer and cross-country skiing in the winter. He hopes to spend more time on the water as soon as he completes the restoration of a recently purchased 50-year-old sailboat.
