Carleton University’s Sustainable and Renewable Energy Engineering Society presented the second annual Green Energy Symposium (CUGES) on November 5th, with enthusiastic participation by multiple Delphites over the day-long event.
Delphi founder and Lumos Energy President Chris Henderson participated in a panel discussion on poverty and the environment, senior associate Melissa Creede of Sapis Insight offered her insights on leading change from one’s values, and analyst Cheryl Johnson presented on climate change policy from the government to the private sector.
In addition to Delphi’s representation, the event hosted a variety of sustainability experts touching on opportunities within the clean energy sector and engineering. Presentations on leveraging the potential in the building sector and the rise of the “super-engineer” provided informative and thoughtful takeaways for all attendees.
We thank organizers for the opportunity to participate in their exciting event. For more information on CUGES and its organizers, please contact the Carleton University Sustainable and Renewable Energy Engineering Society (SREE Soc.) at carletonSREE@gmail.com.
