Stephan Wehr was invited by The Ottawa Valley Chapter of the Air and Waste Management Association (AWMA) to co-chair a session during a shale gas production workshop held on October 19, 2011. Some of the topics covered during the session included:
- What is shale gas?
- Legal overview of the issues involved with shale gas production;
- Environmental impacts of shale gas – key findings & recommendations;
This all-day event was held in Ottawa at the Monterrey Inn. The workshop had expert speakers from across Canada addressing varied aspects of shale gas production.
