Graphic Designer

Location: The candidate can be based anywhere in Canada but ideally in Ottawa, Toronto, Calgary or Vancouver.

Terms of Position: Permanent Full Time (Hybrid role)

POSITION SUMMARY

The Graphic Designer will primarily work with Delphi and CBSR and report to the VP, Marketing and Communications. Key responsibilities include:

• Following brand guidelines, generating design assets for use in Delphi and CBSR marketing campaigns including but not limited to templates, brochures, slide decks, digital ads, social media graphics, website graphics, video graphics, e-newsletter templates, and reports.
• Developing custom, high-quality products for clients, including logos, brand guidelines, reports, and infographics.

• Keeping up to date with design trends and best practices.

• Acting as a collaborative member of the marketing and communications team.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

• 3₊ years of graphic design experience
• Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign
• Working knowledge of video and animation platforms (including the Riverside recording platform) is a plus
• A strong focus on client service with the ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and client satisfaction, both internally and externally
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to be flexible and to work under tight timelines; can adapt, reprioritize with support, and alter course when necessary
