Overview

Delphi has worked with Foresight since 2013 to manage the ongoing challenge definition process for Foresight’s ARCTIC Challenge program.

ARCTIC was designed to accelerate the development of cleantech solutions in response to industry demand and challenges in Canada’s natural resource sectors.

Results

To date, the program has successfully run six technology challenges with four diverse industry clients – Canada’s Oil Sands Innovation Alliance (COSIA), FPInnovations, British Columbia Bioenergy Network (BCBN), and NAL Resources.

The challenges are designed to allow industry to de-risk and adopt technologies with considerable environmental benefits at a faster rate. The program has seen 10 cleantech proponents move their technologies into a de-risking sprint phase and four technologies move into a field trial with an industry partner/adopter.
