The study conducted both SWOT (strength, weakness, opportunities, and threats) and gap analyses of Alberta’s clean technology ecosystem, as well as a benchmark assessment of Alberta’s global leadership capacity across six high-priority technology sub-sectors: Ag-tech, Carbon Capture, Utilization and Storage (CCUS), Digitalization, Electrification, Energy Efficiency, and Hydrogen.
The study also highlights the incredible economic opportunity available to Alberta, in the form of job creation and GDP contribution, if the province moves to prioritize clean economy and clean technology investments.
